Foster to Foster Fail (Foster to Adopt) program
This is the ideal program for those who are on the fence about adoptiong. You get to "test drrive" a dog and decide if you want to adopt him or not.
How does it work?
You take the dog home with you and get 24h to decide if he is a good match or not. If he fits in with your family you get to keep him. If not, you must keep him until we find him a matching family.
How is that different from adopting?
When you come for a meet and greet, you have 15/20 minutes with the dog. By taking the dog home with you, you get to see and experience more of his personality. In exchange, if you decide you are not ready or he is not the one, we ask you to foster and to commit to care for the dog until he gets adopted.
What if the dog doesn't like my... (fill in the blanks).
You don't have to love the dog. You are signing up to help save a life. You are getting the privilege of "test driving" a dog before adoption. The price you pay is to care for him until another family is found. Manage it with baby gates, crates, separate rooms, pee pads... Just manage it! The more pictures, videos and information you give us about the dog, the better his chances of getting quickly adopted.
How much does that cost?
Foster is free however, to ensure your commitment, we will charge you an adoption fee upfront. If you decide after 24h that he is not the one for you, your adoption fee will be fully refunded WHEN the dog gets adopted.
